Comfortable flights, but the travel seemed long. We arrived in Dublin before dawn and our flight to Paris left with the rising sun. At Charles de Gaulle we had some trouble finding the RER B into Paris, but once we found the correct train it was only a few minutes to Gare du Nord and a 15 minute walk to the hotel. Paris is chillier than I expected, but the streets were packed with Sunday walkers and tourists and the sun was out.
After a lovely lunch at a neighborhood bistro we went to Sacre Coeur: the neighborhood appears not to have changed since I was last here years ago, although there were more people sitting on the steps. A frustration today was the Navigo card for the Metro: about half the time the cards did not work.
