Even though it is rainy the city is beautiful. There are two perfect crescent beaches: the smaller one for surfers; the larger and calmer one for swimmers. Few buildings are higher than five or six stories, and every apartment appears to have a balcony.

Today’s sights included the Kursaal Concert Center (two large glass cubes), San Telmo Museum (varied exhibits including the largest Neapolitan crèche I have seen), the old cathedral and the new one, walks along the two beautiful beaches.
