About to board ship for a week at sea. In this last half day in Athens we made our way to the ancient agora, or marketplace, below the Acropolis and the Aeropagus Hill where Saint Paul preached to the Athenians about their “unknown god”. The heart of the ancient agora is the remarkably well preserved Temple of Hephaiston, one of Greece’s best preserved ancient temples. I am looking forward to cooling sea breezes. It has been very hot in Athens.
